Test Drive: 2007 Acura MDX - Comfort
The 2007 Acura MDX covers the luxury part of the equation just as
well as it covers the sporty part. There are quality materials
throughout the cabin. The dark faux wood accents are attractive, but
the surface is too reflective and seems like a fingerprint magnet.
The front seats are comfortable even on long drives, and there's
plenty of room front and back. An eight-way power driver seat makes
finding just the right driving position easy. Front passengers are also
treated to an eight-way power seat. Technically, the MDX has seating
for seven thanks to the all-important third-row seat. Don't think "road
trip for seven"; think "short trips to the Cheesecake Factory with only
kids in the back row."
Chevrolet Cobalt XFE
Desperation isn't pretty, especially not the kind of desperation
you feel when your tank is running on fumes and there's no filling
station in sight. You do what you can to limp the car to the next fuel
stop, and inevitably, thoughts like "Why didn't I think of this
earlier?" haunt you. Perhaps it's this sort of situation that led GM to
develop the 2009 Chevy Cobalt XFE. After a long period of placing
fuel-efficiency low on its priorities, Chevy finds itself in a pinch.
Lacking a readily available vehicle to challenge hybrid stalwarts like
the Toyota Prius and Honda Civic Hybrid, it needed something to offer
the fuel-conscious driver. However, the XFE (for eXtra Fuel Economy)
has become more of a Band-Aid approach rather than a reputable
high-mileage contender.

Ford Flex Limited
In our time with the 2009 Ford Flex, this crossover wagon proved
itself as a practical family-toting appliance. The fact is, though, any
number of new large crossovers can do that. What they can't do is
elicit the sort of reaction the Flex does. "Hey, that's a cool car" is
probably all the incentive moms and dads will need.
Saturn Outlook XR AWD Function
One of the best attributes of this eight-passenger crossover is the
acrobatic second-row bench seat, which splits, tumbles, flips forward
and slides easily to allow wide-open access to the third row or provide
room for more cargo. Second-row captain's chairs are optional for
increased seating comfort but reduce capacity (to seven).
